Organic Olive Oil Liquid Soap unscented gallon is our best selling product. The demand for unscented organic liquid soap was so strong we decided to offer it by the gallon! We started making liquid organic castile soap because our customers said they couldn’t find a liquid handmade organic
 soap that compared in quality to our bar soap.  After more than a year of research and development, we felt we had a product worthy of the Penns Hill Soap Company label.  We never expected our liquid soap to be our most popular.  And what was an even greater surprise is that our unscented soaps are by far the most popular item we make.
Customers ask why Penns Hill organic olive oil liquid soap makes their skin feel so soft. Well, according to the International Olive Oil Council (IOOC) unfiltered extra virgin olive oil, which is technically juice, contains a handful of super nutrients, including vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and powerful anti-oxidants such as polyphenols that help prevent damage to cells caused by free radical oxidation.  By using only olive oil instead of a blend, the result is a  gentle bar soap that moisturizes and pampers the skin.  You will not find any artificial coloring, synthetic perfume or chemicals you can’t pronounce in our soaps. Your skin is enveloped in rich natural emollients that cleanse and pamper your skin. Organic Olive Oil Liquid Soap can be used as a head to toe body wash.  Use it as a shampoo, hand soap, body wash and even a shaving soap.  You will be treated to a moisturizing veil instead of foam that helps you get a close shave while reducing irritation.
Organic olive oil liquid soap unscented gallon is detergent-free. It does not foam as much as cleansers containing detergent. Because it is concentrated, you may find you need to rinse more than a detergent based cleanser.

I love this soap, I use it for everything. I’m allergic to coconut and this is a perfect product for me. I make my own laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and dish soap, I use this in all those things. It’s perfect for me. Thank you for making a pure soap that MCS people can use.

I am very sensitive to various soaps and detergents such as shampoos and this soap makes perfect shampoo for me. I mix one cup of it with 2.5 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil and use about one tablespoon of the mixture to wash my hair. After washing, I rinse my hair with vinegar mixed with water and then thoroughly rinse with just plain water to remove the vinegar smell. The result is absolutely fantastic. I have been doing this for years and cannot be more pleased. This is very high quality soap — the best I have ever found.
By the way, one of the lawyers where I work was so impressed with the way my hair looks that he started washing his own hair with the unscented bar soap sold by Penns Hill and then he also uses a vinegar and water rinse. His hair looks the best it has ever look and the soap makes his hair look full and soft and shiny — this is great because he is balding a bit and this soap makes him look his best.
Every now and then, perhaps once every couple of weeks or once a month, both of us also use about a tablespoon of baking soda to wash our hair and then follow this with a soap wash and of course the vinegar and water rinsing routine. This removes any residue that has built up and keeps our hair looking great. A boar bristle brush is part of our routine because it does enhance hair shine even more. It’s amazing what natural products can do.

Thank you for your feedback. I am so glad our products are working well for you. Have you thought of adding fresh lemon juice to the vinegar rinse, or trying to rinse your hair with lemon juice instead of vinegar? Just a thought. If you try it, let me know how it works for you.

We have a lot of allergies in our family. I purchased this 1/2 gallon 11 months ago and have appreciated Penn Hills’ quality every day. We make our hand wash, body wash, and shampoo. Our skin is noticeably softer. Penn Hills Castile soap has helped tremendously. It is easy to store and mix into your DIY products.
