Organic Olive Oil Castile Soap is handmade from certified organic extra virgin olive oil. Unlike other “castile” soaps that may contain trace amounts of irritating ingredients, our soap is free from nut products, chemicals, and fragrances. Customers often tell us this is the only soap they can use without irritation, making it the perfect solution for those with sensitive skin.
Ingredients: Certified organic extra virgin olive oil (saponified), water. 128 fluid ounces.

I am very sensitive to various soaps and detergents such as shampoos and this soap makes perfect shampoo for me. I mix one cup of it with 2.5 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil and use about one tablespoon of the mixture to wash my hair. After washing, I rinse my hair with vinegar mixed with water and then thoroughly rinse with just plain water to remove the vinegar smell. The result is absolutely fantastic. I have been doing this for years and cannot be more pleased. This is very high quality soap — the best I have ever found.
By the way, one of the lawyers where I work was so impressed with the way my hair looks that he started washing his own hair with the unscented bar soap sold by Penns Hill and then he also uses a vinegar and water rinse. His hair looks the best it has ever look and the soap makes his hair look full and soft and shiny — this is great because he is balding a bit and this soap makes him look his best.
Every now and then, perhaps once every couple of weeks or once a month, both of us also use about a tablespoon of baking soda to wash our hair and then follow this with a soap wash and of course the vinegar and water rinsing routine. This removes any residue that has built up and keeps our hair looking great. A boar bristle brush is part of our routine because it does enhance hair shine even more. It’s amazing what natural products can do.

Thank you for your feedback. I am so glad our products are working well for you. Have you thought of adding fresh lemon juice to the vinegar rinse, or trying to rinse your hair with lemon juice instead of vinegar? Just a thought. If you try it, let me know how it works for you.
